Skilled Internship

OVERVIEW AND LOCATION
Unpaid internships are available in Siem Reap, home of the thousand-year old Angkor temple complex Angkor Wat. Work with a local non-government organization on a variety of projects that operate in and around the tourist hub of Siem Reap.

Skilled volunteers may teach English to kids and young adults, be involved in health education programs, develop skills training or learn about running an NGO, developing marketing, fundraising and business administration skills. Volunteers also have the use of bicycles to get around the town and to and from work.

ABOUT CAMBODIA DEVELOPMENT
Cambodia is a small country nestled between Vietnam to the east, Laos to the north and Thailand to the east. The Mekong river flows through Phnom Penh, the capital city whilst the Gulf of Thailand lies to the south, allowing Cambodia some of the most beautiful beaches in the region. Cambodia has a tumultuous past that is well documented yet has been safe for travellers for over a decade now. Siem Reap is a busy hub in the north west of Cambodia, towards the Thai border and has a population of a little over 100,000. There is a huge amount to do at weekends including visits to the Angkor temple park, Tonle Sap and beaches to the south.
