There's no better way to find out about our Language Immersion Program then from the students themselves. Check out these stories from our former French and German students. You can read more stories on the "My Antipodeans Experience" page. There are no words to describe my experience except for FABULOUS! Every bit was memorable; playing card games with the adults, eating cheese every night, straightening my host sisters hair and vice versa, helping the brothers with their English homework, trying snails, going to Paris with my host mum and sister and…I think I could go on forever. It was really great to revisit Paris as I could live there for longer. I learnt so many new things, would love to go again and recommend it to anyone. Holly, Ascham, NSW The thing that struck me the most was how far everyone went out of their way to ensure I was 100% content. My French has dramatically improved - I myself was blown away when I started back at school and everything was for such a short period. Overall it was just so much fun - and I hope to independently go back and visit my host family in Voctben. Thank you all so much, an experience I will never forget. Danielle, Ravenswood, NSW Great experience, would love to go again! But I think it was made so special by the amazing family that you found for me. Thank you! Kristen, Abbotsleigh, NSW We had a ball in Germany. The families were great and made us feel very much at home. School, too, was really enjoyable. Everyone took an interest in us and wanted to know lots about where we came from. We also enjoyed making our film diary of our time in Germany. Andrew, Newington College, NSW Our families in Germany made us feel very welcome and made sure we did plenty of things – skiing, sporting matches. It also really improved my German. School was very different to what we are used to at home. Robert, Newington College, NSW
