Germany

Germany is one of the powerhouses of Europe, a country that has undergone numerous upheavals in the past century. It is a place of great beauty, rich heritage and fascinating culture where the avant-garde and the traditional exist side-by-side.

This is your opportunity to experience one of the world's great European cultures with our professionally organised homestays over 5 or 7 weeks near the Black Forest region of Germany.

You will be part of a group of students that travel from Australia with a Chaperone whose job it is to ensure your home stay goes smoothly. You will visit Heidelberg, the Rhine River, Munich and Berlin. You will stay with a family and attend school with your host brother or sister giving you the opportunity to mix with many young German students and develop an understanding of their way of life.

During the Christmas and New Year holidays, you will join in the activities of your host family. The program includes three days and nights in Berlin with the Australian group and a 3-day trip to Munich. You will also have the opportunity to visit the museums and galleries of the university town of Heidelberg.

Join us in Germany over Christmas and develop your language skills while you immerse yourself in the culture of this beautiful country.
