South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique
Kruger to the Cape Adventure- Travel and Volunteer
Our unique Kruger to Cape Volunteer Adventure includes a combination of travel and volunteer work throughout Swaziland, South Africa and Mozambique.
Visit Kruger National Park, South Africa’s most famous national park, going on game drives searching for lion, elephant, leopard and rhino, before travelling to Swaziland where you will take part in a two-week community project.
You can choose which work you would like to get involved in from Sports Coaching, Teaching English or Construction work. From Swaziland you will head to Mozambique, famous for it’s idyllic tropical beaches and the world’s biggest fish, the Whale Shark, which you will have the opportunity to snorkel alongside! Other optional activities include diving, snorkelling, quad biking, horse riding, surfing and deep sea fishing.
Return to Swaziland to continue your placement work, and then travel through Swaziland all the way along the beautiful east coast of South Africa to Cape Town, exploring the local area as you travel.
The final 3 weeks is spent in the stunning city of Cape Town, living in a fishing town called Hout Bay. The Cape area faces many social challenges with sprawling townships that are poverty stricken. End your placement working on a project with children from the township.

ABOUT SOUTH AFRICA, SWAZILAND AND MOZAMBIQUE
Swaziland
Swaziland is the smallest country in the southern hemisphere and is one of Africa’s last remaining monarchies. With a population of just over 1 million people, the largely mountainous country surrounded by South Africa and Mozambique is ruled by King Mswati III. Swaziland has a reputation for its strong traditions, colourful festivals and a laid back feel.
South Africa
South Africa is a culturally diverse nation, recognising eleven languages in its constitution.
It contains some of the most exciting attractions in Africa, including the beautiful harbourside city of Capetown, Kruger National Park, and the stunning beachside towns and villages along the Garden Route.
Mozambique
Mozambique enjoys relative peace and stability and has been earmarked to be one of Africa’s rising stars this century. Tourists from around the world are drawn to the country’s stunning beaches and reefs, to the vibrant capital Maputo, to game reserves such as Gorongosa National Park and the chance to sail a dhow or traditional Arab sail boat at sunset on one of the country’s spectacular shorelines.
