Teaching, Building, Community and Social Work

Volunteers in Peru will teach English in local schools. Teaching opportunities are based in schools in the Sacred Valley. Kids range from 6-14 years old with a very basic level of English, so lesson plans will need to be developed accordingly. Volunteers are required to teach in either the morning or the afternoon.

In addition to teaching, there are opportunities to help with construction work building a school on the outskirts of Cusco or building classrooms, kitchens and vegetable plots in the Sacred Valley.

The orientation in Cusco lasts one week and involves Spanish classes in the morning as well as free time to explore and acclimatise.
