Where Asia meets Europe. Tour Istanbul and visit St Sophia, the largest church in Christendom for thousands of years, the Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque and the Underground Cistern. Travel to the Cappadocia region and view the famous rock formations and valleys which have rock-cut chapels and the Underground City of Kaymakli. Travel to Izmir, birthplace of Homer and onto the splendid Roman ruins of Ephesus.

Visit the Arcadian Way, the Celsus Library and House of Virgin Mary. Visit the ancient cities of Pirene, Didvma and Miletus surrounding Kusadasi and then travel north to the powerful and cultured kingdom of Bergama (Pergamum). Visit the Acropolis, the temple of Athena and the ruins of the Asclepion. Travel to the site of Homer’s Troy, then cross the Dardanelle Strait by ferry and embark on an extensive tour of Gallipoli and Anzac Cove.
