Visit the private residence of the emperors, the Colosseum, the Pantheon and a day trip to Ostia Antica. Also San Pietro, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel where Michelangelo’s wonderful frescoes ‘Creation’ and Last Judgment’ dominate the room.
Travel south to Naples and Sorrento and visit Pompeii. Tour the House of Caecilius, Stabian Baths and Villa dei Mysteri where the frescos remain in situ. Visit the beautiful island of Capri with the Blue Grotto, Villa Iovis and Tiberius Villa. Italy has a wealth of other sites and attractions in cities such as Florence and Venice to explore.
