Egypt

Cover at least 3000 years in 2 weeks of travel! A typical tour covers the splendours of  the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, a trip to Giza to see the Sphinx, Valley Temple and the  Pyramids. Cruise down the Nile stopping to explore the temples of Komombo and the  massive complex of Edfu dedicated to the falcon God Horus before arriving in Luxur.

Explore the West Bank attractions of the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen  Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. On the East Bank visit the superb Karnak and  Luxor Temples. Return to Alexandria and visit the 1st century AD Royal Catacombs of  Kom EL-shouqafa, Pompey’s pillar and the modern Library of Alexandria. Finally visit  the sobering reminders of El Alamein with the Museum and Commonwealth  Cemetery. Add 2 nights for an optional tour to St Catherines Monastery and a view  from the top of Mt Sinai.
