Does Antipodeans Abroad work with nationally-ranked schools/universities?
Many Antipodeans Abroad partner schools/universities have received national or regional rankings for the high quality of their education programs.

What is an Antipodeans Abroad Partner School/University?
An Antipodeans Abroad Partner School/University is a school/university that provides high-quality education programs in a safe, attractive location and has superior support services for international students. Antipodeans Abroad Partner Schools go through an extensive review and inspection process before joining our program and are regularly reviewed by our staff to ensure that they are continuing to offer a high-quality education experience for our students.

How can Antipodeans Abroad help me get school/university acceptance letters in less time and with less work?
Antipodeans Abroad has developed its own application form that is used to apply to any Partner School/University. Our unique application process is easily identified by Partner School/University admissions staff and given highest processing priority.

Throughout the application process, Antipodeans Abroad’s U.S.-based placement advisors provide school/university recommendations and support and handle all communications for you. This system saves hours of time, requires far less effort than applying to the school/university directly and results in getting school/university acceptance letters for you in weeks rather than months.

What is the Antipodeans Abroad School/University Placement Guarantee?
Antipodeans Abroad guarantees that every student will be accepted by at least one recommended Partner School/University if all required original application documents are received before the published application deadline. If Antipodeans Abroad can’t get your student accepted to at least one Partner School/University, the placement fee will be fully refunded.

Are GRE/ GMAT exams required by Antipodeans Abroad Partner Schools/Universities?
Admission requirements for American graduate programs are determined by individual program departments. Many graduate departments at Antipodeans Abroad Partner Schools/Universities do not require students to take the GRE or GMAT exams. Our Placement Advisors can help you find graduate departments that do not require these exams.

Can Antipodeans Abroad help me apply to a university that is not part of the Antipodeans Abroad Partner School/University Network?Although Antipodeans Abroad schools/universities offer a wide variety of programs throughout the United States, we can help you apply to schools/universities that are not a part of our Partner School/University network. There is an extra charge to apply to non-Antipodeans Abroad Partner Schools/Universities and processing time may be considerably longer.

How can I apply for a student visa?
To learn about the F-1 or M-1 student visa application process, visit the US Department of State website at: http://www.usembassy.gov and click on the US Embassy or Consulate closest to your home and go to the section entitled “visas”.
You may be able to get assistance in preparing for your student visa application and interview from an Antipodeans Abroad Global Network Partner office near you.

Can I work in the USA?
International students in the United States are restricted by visa regulations in the type and amount of paid work they can do while they attend school/university. During your school/university program, you will be limited to working only in on-campus jobs and no more than 20 hours per week.

The Optional Practical Training (OPT) program, a U.S. government-approved program, allows international students who have completed a certificate or degree program at an American school/university to get paid work experience in their field of study for up to one year after they complete their program. The international student office at your school/university in the United States can help you apply for OPT before the end of your study program. For more details about OPT, visit the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) website at:http://www.ice.gov/sevis/students/opt.htm
