Paid Teaching Work

Looking to gain a world-recognised qualification, whilst getting some teaching experience under you belt? Than look no further than our China placement.

CHINA

You’ll begin your experience in China with a 1-month TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course in Beijing. The course is a recognised accreditation for teaching English overseas. During this first month you will be part of a group of international students, getting to know the culture and excitement of Beijing.

The following five months allows you to put theory into practice in a selection of schools across China. During the first month you will be allocated a school where you can teach in a Kindergarten, Primary, High School or Post Secondary. The teaching posts in China are paid positions, therefore participants must be aware of the importance of their role. You will be required to teach a certain number of hours a week (approximately 20 hours per week) and spend at least a similar amount of time preparing lessons.

I am loving life in China, and life in Shenyang more specifically. I am being curious and passionate, eager and exploratory. I hope you are all doing the same, wherever and whatever you are doing in life.
