Nepal

In 1980 Antipodeans Abroad founder, Colin Carpenter lead his first expedition to Nepal. Since then, it has always been a favoured destination for Antipodeans Abroad. Nepal is blessed with amazingly friendly people, fantastic Buddhist culture and mountain scenery second to nowhere else in the world. We are always happy to suggest Nepal as a destination to any of our school teams.

Home to the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest, Nepal has long been considered an outstanding country to enjoy trekking. The rich Hindu and Buddhist culture, the open friendliness of the people, the fairytale suspension bridges and the wonderful handy-craft markets make Nepal the perfect destination for those wishing to combine spectacular trekking with  a traditional cultural experience.

Sample Itinerary

We thought the whole Antipodean adventure was very professional-friends had reported very favorably on previous expeditions. I would say Antipodeans has a very good reputation around the schools.
